Visual identity, brand guidelines and naming for a non-profit

Be The Narrative is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to create and deliver interactive programs that connect Jewish and non-Jewish peers to develop leaders and reduce prejudice. Their most popular program, called Student To Student, is for high school students to connect and increase understanding through personal experiences. Be The Narrative needed help visualizing how their entire brand could work together, with potential to grow.


I chose a bold approachable font. This helped the logo feel personal and sincere. Blue is a color often associated with Judaism, but the addition of teal blue gave it interest.


The icon is a Star of David merged with a talk bubble, bringing to life the tagline, “Judaism in our words.”


To show Student To Student was a program that was in the Be The Narrative organization, I used the same font and main blue color, but added a coral accent to set them apart.


The icon consisted of two talk bubbles, one containing the Star of David, to represent the ongoing student conversations this program fostered.
